Well, Helloooooooo!

Thank you for finding me.

I am an independent Business English teacher (a fancy way of saying I help people give presentations in English), a meditation teacher, and a digital nomad traveling around with a 50L brown backpack.

You might have not read my book From The Corner Of My Book (the ebook is coming soon), which is about the years I spent writing poems.

It hasn’t sold many copies because I’ve not been promoting it (Too scared!) but I would cherish it for a really long time if you want to buy it, read it or tell me things about it.

What is this newsletter?

The highs, the lows, the plot twists, the predictabilities, and the unpredictabilities of my life — and how I explore them, stumbling & dancing.

💌 This newsletter is sometimes pages from my journals - Trying-to-figure-out-life and sometimes postcards to a long-distance friend (YOU) hence the name Kaus’ Postcards. I started these postcards in 2022 in hopes of developing a writing routine, connecting with people through my writing, and aspiring to build a space where we find comfort and safety within ourselves.

Moreso, my life and hence these Postcards is also be about…

💌 Exploring (what’s it like to backpack around the world with an Indian passport )

💌 Working: Currently, work is a big part of my life and I am interested in exploring alternative work styles & lifestyles. So, we will be talking a lot about things of this nature — Slow Work, Conscious Entrepreneurship, and Intentional Living.

💌 Feeling: Since I am officially a poet now (I wrote a book and all), we can legit talk about feelings, connection, and what it feels like to grow into newer versions of ourselves. And also but not limited to our unrequited dreams & desires, the delights and lonely nights, like enjoying a slow morning routine or dishing about the badly-written TV shows that didn’t match the hype. I mean there’s so much to dish and dance about. So, why not?

💌 Living: I recently started to live in a house in a forest in Auroville (a tiny township on the east coast of India). I LOVE this new life. It’s a community living, a big forest, 7 huts, and a turkey that keeps chasing the house guests. I can’t wait to share about the life here. (Back in Bangalore for sometime before I live)

Kaus Postcards changes with the seasons of my life and the phases I am in. I don’t know what it holds but I am sure this will become a life of its own. Hopefully, something comforting & delightful on a Sunday afternoon — with a cup of tea.

I try to bring my postcards on Mondays-Tuesdays (Evenings).
I also share poems on - Poetry Pour Vous (I don’t have a schedule for these. They come as they come - in sprints)
